MESA COUNTY COLORADO REAL ESTATE MARKET UPDATE NOVEMBER 2016
Transactions were UP 15.36% for NOVEMBER of 2016 versus NOVEMBER 2015 and the NOVEMBER 2016 gross volume was DOWN 1.42% at $81,382,994 versus $82,556,141 for NOVEMBER 2015. Overall, the total YTD volume for 2016 is UP 7.8% over 2015 at $949,121,216.
The average residential sales price in NOVEMBER 2016 went UP $22,683 to $259,052 and the NOVEMBER median price went UP $1,000 to $219,000. The year to date for NOVEMBER values are $238,220 for the average residential price and $206,000 for the median residential price, both increases compared to 2015.
Next month I will have information pertaining to all of 2016 with a comparison to the year 2015. As of now we are seeing the inventory increase giving buyers more options. And with some exciting new loan and down payment grant assistance options for buyers, 2017 is destined to be a great year for Mesa County real estate!
